Women of all ages are invited this summer to delve into C.S. Lewis’ satirical masterpiece, “The Screwtape Letters.” Join us for two sessions (or one–whatever you can make) of reflection and discussion on this thought-provoking book:
• SESSION 1: Tuesday, July 16, 7-8:30 pm, chapters 1-17
• SESSION 2: Tuesday, August 6, 7-8:30 pm, chapters 18-31
Both sessions will be at the Thatches. Email Polly to let her know you’ll be there, and to receive the discussion questions in advance. A bit about the book: “The Screwtape Letters” is a collection of letters from a senior demon, Screwtape, to his nephew and protégé, Wormwood. Through Screwtape’s cunning advice on leading a human ‘patient’ astray, Lewis explores profound questions of good and evil, temptation, and redemption.
