Jeff loves being the pastor of Cross Park Church. Jeff grew up in Conover, NC and attended UNC Chapel Hill and Reformed Theological Seminary. After working with Campus Crusade for Christ for several years and living overseas, Jeff and his wife Trish came to Charlotte in 2010 to start the process of planting Cross Park Church. Jeff and Trish have three girls: Caroline, Claire, and Julia.
Jordan grew up in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, and moved south for school, first to Elon University and later, Reformed Theological Seminary in Charlotte. In between, he worked for several years in the business world. He and his wife, Evyn, have four young children. Jordan enjoys planting things in the ground, playing golf, reading with his kids, and as a former Catholic, cheering for Notre Dame football.
Will is the oldest of a family with seven boys, with an eight-year gap between himself and his triplet brothers. He was raised in Florida, but he considers Virginia and the blessed state of North Carolina to be his true home. He has a degree in Biblical Studies from Liberty University, and he is currently pursuing an M.Div. at Reformed Theological Seminary. He and his wife Nancy moved to Charlotte and joined Cross Park in January 2015, after Will worked as an RUF Intern at App State. They love the local church and college ministry, and Will hopes to be ordained and called to full-time ministry someday. Will’s many-faceted and widely-varied interests include fountain pens, theology, breakfast foods and coffee, liturgy, Chacos, beards, barbecue, and Tolkien, and he’s sort of into music, too. He loves arranging and leading our church music each week, and is thankful for the opportunity to serve the church while in seminary.
Christina is the first-born in a family with six children, growing up in Greenville, SC. She graduated from Covenant College with a degree in Middle Education, and genuinely loved teaching 7th Grade Math for five years. After having her first child, she became a tutor and later Cross Park’s first Nursery Coordinator. She and her husband Dan have three boys: Luke, Mark, and Zack. They are also registered foster parents and hope to add to their family through adoption someday. The Emmons have been at Cross Park since the beginning. Christina took voice lessons in high school, once had her face on a billboard, and starts every day with a cup of coffee, which she absolutely loves!
Kelsey grew up in Virginia Beach, VA. She has a degree in Journalism from Elon University and a Master’s in Social Work from UNC Charlotte. Before moving to Charlotte in 2012, Kelsey served on staff with Campus Outreach at Wingate University for four years. In addition to Cross Park, she works full-time for a local non-profit mentoring at-risk young adults. In her free time, Kelsey can be found enjoying the outdoors (especially anything involving the water), live music, spontaneous road trips, keeping up with current events, and attempting to remake any handcrafted item she finds in stores.
Nancy was born and raised in West Virginia, where her father is a pastor. She has a Philosophy degree from Liberty University, which she’s never once used to get a job. Instead, she spends her time working in two worlds. When she’s not doing administrative work for Cross Park, she’s substitute teaching or babysitting. She loves kids of all ages, and enjoys watching them learn and grow. But her tireless attention to detail and her deep love for repetitive, tedious tasks fuel her office work. She and her husband Will moved to Charlotte in January 2015 to serve at Cross Park while Will attends seminary. They hope that Will will be called into full-time ministry someday. Nancy has an obsessive love of anything purple, and would probably rather eat Chipotle than anything else at any given moment. She is so thankful for Cross Park, and loves how working for the church has connected her to even more people in the congregation.
