Cross Park Men

Get Involved

At Cross Park, we have a number of opportunities for the men of the church to study and to serve together.  We want our men to be equipped to lead through service in their families, workplaces, and communities.  We would love for you to join us for an upcoming time of fellowship, study, prayer, or ministry.  Below you'll find information about our latest Men's Bible Study, as well as any information about upcoming service projects or other men's events.

4/13 SIM Work Day
We have an opportunity to help SIM, one of our ministry partners, in a tangible way on Saturday, 4/13 by tackling some spring chores on their campus. Jobs will include spring yard work (mulching, trimming, etc.), splitting & stacking firewood, re-staining the outdoor gym at the playground, nature trail development, etc. Gather at 8 AM for coffee and doughnuts, get to work at 8:30, mid-morning water break (maybe), stop at noon for lunch provided by SIM. Sign up here! Please let Larry Shank know if you have any questions.

P.U.B. Nights
We are starting a new series of events called “P.U.B. Nights” - Promoting an Understanding of the Bible. The next P.U.B. Night will be at Dan Emmon’s house (10523 Nimue Court) on Wednesday, 4/10 from 7:30-9:30 PM. These are social events which include discussion on relevant topics in the context of community. Not only do we have a chance to hang out, but we dive into topics that affect our everyday lives.

Men’s Leadership Class
All the men of Cross Park are invited to join our spring leadership class, as we study the Bible together, considering what it means for us to pursue our callings in the church, and to prepare for future leadership in the church. This class is also one of the necessary pre-requisites for becoming an officer. But all men are invited whether you are considering the officer process or not. The class will meet Thursday mornings at 6:30, during March, April and May. We will gather on Thursday, 3/14 for our first class. Please RSVP to Erin Martinson.
