Cross Park Kids
At Cross Park, we have a ton of kids! And we firmly believe that children are a vital part of our church family. We have a number of classes and programs where little ones can learn and grow together. From nursery, through children's worship, and special events and Sunday School classes, we always strive to teach our children about God's love, and to help them learn to love and serve each other as well. Below you can find information about our current classes, and other ways for your kids to get involved at Cross Park.
Current Children's Events
Nursery Care is available during Sunday School (9:30 am) and Worship (10:30 am), for Newborns through Age 3.
During the worship service, our 3-year-olds learn about God together, using "A Sure Foundation" from the Children Desiring God curriculum. This series is designed to create a place of prayer for young children, a place where they will hear foundational Bible stories, and a place they learn simple truth statements and begin to memorize Scripture as they form their language skills.

Children’s Sunday School
Age 4 - 2nd Grade Sunday School
Our younger children will be working through Beginning Kids' Quest Catechism Club Volume 1 from Great Commission Publications. This curriculum uses accounts from the Bible of God's work in the world to help children understand God's character and abstract theological truths. Volume 1 covers the first 13 questions of the First Catechism.
3rd - 5th Grade Sunday School
Our older children will be working through What's Up Elementary from Serge. This curriculum provides a foundation for understanding the gospel and learning how Jesus impacts their daily lives. Going beyond simple Bible stories, children will truly start to discover the glory of the gospel and begin the lifelong journey of living out the good news.
All children Ages 4 and up join us in singing during the beginning of our Worship each week.
After this, we have Children's Worship during the sermon for Ages 4 through 2nd Grade.
Children in 3rd Grade and up stay with their families to participate in the Sermon.
We print children's bulletins to help them engage with the Scripture passage, and to encourage them to ask questions and take notes.
We want our children to be safe and protected at all times while in nursery care and various classes. For this reason, we ask that all parents register at kidcheck.com. All of our children and volunteers will be signed in with this site each week.
